Hi Everyone!

I guess I'll be the third one to introduce myself here...

My name is Charles Wei and I will be joining you all from Santa Rosa Valley, CA which is in Ventura County. I was called to the ministry many many years ago, I think when I was a freshman or sophomore in high school, but I fought it for a long time. At that point in my life, I pretty much hated school and could not imagine the amount of school I would have to go through to become a pastor, so I spent the better part of a decade trying to bargain my way out of it.

As we all know, in a fight between you and God, God will win, and I eventually resigned myself to this fact and went back to school. I'm about to finish my bachelors degree in business management at California Lutheran University and will have approximately a week and a half after I graduate to get everything together and move up to beautiful San Anselmo! I don't want to complain, because I've found that I actually enjoy school now, especially since I know what I'm supposed to be doing with my life. It's just funny sometimes the things that God makes us do.

For anyone that has not yet had a chance to visit the campus, let me just tell you that it is beautiful! I have spent two weekends there already and have gotten a chance to talk to some of the students and professors there. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and it still blows my mind when I think of how much I learned during those four short days. To think of how much I will learn in four years takes my breath away.

To wrap it up, I cannot express how excited I am to start this new chapter of my life! I can't wait to meet you all!
