Another Hi!
How is everyone doing? I hope that your summer vacations are treating you well.... I look forward to reading more introductions, as you all have time! Things are more quiet here around the seminary community, but there is already chatter in the air about upcoming events and you all: the new arriving class! Please feel free to forward any questions for me about classes and other logistics. I look forward to being a companion along the way.... Take care! ~ Elizabeth

Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteIf we find work or want to take Summer courses, is it possible to stay on campus over the Summer? Or do you have to move out over the break?
You can definitely stay around campus over the summer... That is actually what I am doing... :) When you sign your housing lease, typically it is for a full-year actually. In order to leave for the summer and not be charged for rent, you need to completely vacate your room.... If you don't want to vacate your room but aren't planning to be on campus during the summer, typically -- this is what it has been the last two years---if your leaving is church work/presbytery/Committee on Presbytery related, i.e. you have to leave to do something for your program--- you only have to pay 1/3 of your monthly rent... :) Hope this helps! Michelle Walker is also helpful with these details... ;)
